Chobi Kilims
Chobi Kilims are handwoven from the finest sheep wool native to Afghanistan. They are dyed using natural vegetable dyes, washed using herbal soaps, and finally dried in natural sunlight.
The name Chobi is derived from the Persian word choob, meaning wood. Chobi rugs were a response to the North American fashion taste that intended to modify the boldness of the traditional rugs to give a muted and antique look of natural wood color desired by the modern fashion industry.
